I love flowers. I always have. They make my heart light up and put a smile on my face. From a very young age I loved picking flowers, gardening with my mom and giving flowers to others. One of my favorite occasions when walking home from school was collecting dandelions and other wild weeds and bringing them home to mom! My little sister, Andrea, could collect a huge bouquet of dandelions! She was a pro! I was blessed to grow up in the beautiful green state of Washington. My favorite of all flowers thrives here!! The Hydreangea!!!! Oh how I love that ball of a flower! My mom would always find me putting hundreds of vases of flowers around our home! They are not a fragrant flower but oh they are so lovely!! As Mothers Day comes all the tulips, daffodils, and blossoms are out showing Spring in full burst! Mothers are the gateway that new life comes through. What an amazing thing! No wonder a gift of flowers means so much to us women, it can serve as a reminder of that nurturing, loving and beautiful role. Give a flower to a woman you love this week...and hey why not every week!!
