I love beautifying homes, inside and out. And this week has been a great one helping the outside of our home get a little attention and love!
There is no joy that compares to happiness in the home! And traditions in a home have a way of producing great opportunities for that joy to grow. One such tradition we have begun is to get a "pottery piece" each anniversary. This year we got a beautiful glazed pot for our porch. In the years previous we bought a tiny bowl with a bunny imprint in the San Juan Islands for our honeymoon piece, and a first year anniversary in Jackson Hole got us 3 mini handcrafted foil lamps. I'm excited to fill this pot with beautiful plants!
For Mothers Day this year I asked Mr. James if we could build window boxes, and he was excited to take it on with me! We have one done and one to go. I love growing things!! We plan to put flowers and herbs in them! I love them!
Lastly, I love having a weeding buddy!! Jane joined me outside in her new toy mania saucer (thanks, Fulbrights!). It was so fun having her out in the sunshine with me as I pulled weed after weed.
