The heat this week has been pretty awful. I like sunshine, but not hot heat! It's been a doozy trying to cool off being pregnant and not having clothes fit at all right now. But we finally invested in a little pool and got it set up in the yard. Then today I decided we needed it shaded and protected from the sun. Oh this little swimming oasis made me feel like a kid again! We are totally going to have a big ol' dead spot after, but it will be so worth it! It cools you off immensely, cause man hose water is cold! It's been fun hanging out there with Jane and splashing about.
I love fort building and can't wait to make 100's of them with my kiddos! Whether outside, inside, big, small, they are just so much fun!! I love having special spots to imagine and pretend! I have so many fond memories as a child playing in forts, and so many more when I was babysitting kiddos and now I can't wait to build them with my kids. There are simple joys in life and forts are one of mine!
