Put the "doors of your tent towards the temple" during Conference! I love this family tradition we've started. This year we decided to stay indoors and make a sheet tent.
Jane was quite intrigued by the tent and the lanterns, but she was even more entranced with the speakers and choirs of Conference. What a great and incredible blessing it is to have a living Prophet on the Earth with Apostles at his side. During two weekends a year we are able to listen to men and women who have great faith in the Lord. Receiving council and encouragement to keep the faith and to share it with others.
We ventured to the library and our local Reeds Dairy during this beautiful weekend as well. I can't pass up a fun trip to ice-cream and I love getting new books to read with my buddies!
Did you know the best way to eat a cone? Truly the best and only way is to smash it into bits and mix it on in with the creamy goodness of ice-cream! That way you've got a little crunch with your cream!
I love these two of mine so much!!! I love to watch my Mr James interact with Jane girl. He's a wonderful father and she is his mini me (in girl form ;) ). They are a true delight in my life. How grateful I am that James chose to marry me and bless me with such cute babies. And to bless our family as a worthy priesthood holder in our home. There is great humility and strength in a man who cares deeply enough about his family to hold strong to priesthood covenants. I love him for that commitment he keeps!
I loved seeing the baby animals at the dairy and especially these sibling pigs. All nestled up together! So sweet! There is such beauty in this world, pause to notice it each day!!
