I discovered a fool proof flakey biscuit recipe and it was AWESOME! James was in high heaven and grateful he came home for lunch today. They were SO easy and SO delectable! I found the recipe here:

And some flakey yummy biscuits had to be accompanied by a warm chili. This was an adaptation from a family favorite that our dear friends the Beans make, Lightening Chili. It is so delicious! We had a bunch of dried beans so we took the time to soak and cook all those (my first time really ever doing that), and then threw all the yummies in with them. I LOVE a good soup and bread on a winter day!
Oh, and check it out......our first real snow day here in Idaho!!! Hopefully it doesn't keep all the ladies from coming to the Relief Society Activity we planned for tonight!
