Traveling homebound to my apple state of WA was quite the adventure!!!!!! Jane and I left Idaho Falls on a shuttle bus at 10 am and did not land in Seattle till 9:30 pm. It was a loooooooooooong day. Jane only slept for maybe 45 minutes throughout the day and traveled really well. She was an angel!
Especially because we sat waiting in the airport for 5 hours!!!!! Yep, you heard me right...5 hours in an airport with a 10 month old. We walked the airport a ton, ate tons of snacks, went through a few diapers and an 2 outfits. All the others waiting got to know Jane and I really well.
My favorite people we got to know was a cute older couple that sat and read their books the whole time. They were so sweet to each other and just adorable. While Jane was walking around, with the help of my fingers, for the 20th time..the older woman said to me, "She's the kind of baby that gives hope to old people like us! She's well mannered, curious, behaved and good natured." So sweet and made my day! I'm so proud of Jane and the traits that she exhibits!
She finally was able to crash in the car as Aunt Molly drove us home! Long day, and so glad to be home for a few special days!
